About This Role
- Own reliability of critical retail supply chain applications running 24/7 on Azure and Oracle Cloud, ensuring uptime for warehouses and stores.
- Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs, lead incident response including acting as incident commander, and drive post-incident reviews to improve systems.
- Build observability tools, automate operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, Python/Bash, and troubleshoot end-to-end issues across networking, cloud infrastructure, Linux, Docker, Java, and Oracle DB.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years experience in SRE, cloud infrastructure, or production operations, with at least 3 years managing production workloads on Azure or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Strong expertise in Azure or OCI cloud services including networking (VNet/VCN, VPN, ExpressRoute/FastConnect), compute, storage, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu), Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Python/Bash automation in production.
- Ability and willingness to work 24/7 rotational shifts and on-call support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full lifecycle incident management with responsibilities including incident command and blameless post-mortems, indicating strong operational ownership.
- Proficient in building and using observability stacks and automating cloud infrastructure at scale, showing a strong automation and monitoring focus.
- Experienced troubleshooting complex multi-layer systems involving networking, load balancers, Java applications, REST APIs, and Oracle databases in high-availability enterprise environments.
