About This Role
- Own the full stack development and iterative enhancement of software products following 12-factor principles, including frontend and backend components.
- Lead architecture input, collaborate with teams on design decisions, and ensure delivery of scalable, cloud-native, microservices-based applications.
- Coach junior members, establish CI/CD pipelines, support user environments, and actively participate in agile ceremonies and decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, including system integration and CI/CD automation.
- 6+ years experience developing scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), with strong skills in microservices architecture, TDD, and Agile/XP practices.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and delivering large-scale distributed cloud-native applications with adherence to 12-Factor App principles.
- Strong background in Agile and eXtreme Programming environments, including pair programming, iterative delivery, and continuous integration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technology stack expertise and mentor junior developers within cross-functional teams.
