About This Role
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans and automated test frameworks for embedded Linux-based software products.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and cybersecurity testing, working closely with software and firmware engineers to resolve defects.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams within Agile environment to ensure product quality and release readiness of spectrophotometers and color measurement systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in software quality assurance, embedded systems testing, or test automation.
- Experience with embedded Linux-based systems, automated testing using Python or similar frameworks, defect tracking, version control (Git), CI/CD environments, and Agile methodologies.
- Effective communication skills in English and capability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing embedded Linux and hardware-driven products with strong skills in test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable collaborating across globally distributed teams and Agile development processes with strong ownership for product quality and release performance.
- Familiarity or interest in optical measurement systems or similar industrial instrumentation products and ability to integrate cybersecurity validation in test processes.
