About This Role
- Serve as the single point of contact for a major bank's data protection programme under India's DPDP Act, overseeing deployment of data vault and integration tools for 11 applications from analysis to production go-live.
- Lead and manage a team of 15 across two pods, coordinate releases, SIT, UAT, and maintain governance with client PMO, managing risks and dependencies to ensure delivery against fixed milestones.
- Own wave plans, release calendars, milestone acceptance, and client approvals, providing weekly status updates and steering reports, using AI tools to expedite reporting and communication.
Minimum Requirements
- 12 to 16 years of experience with proven delivery management in data integration, migration, or data platform programmes within banking or financial services.
- Working knowledge of batch processing, ETL tools (Informatica, stored procedures, Spark), and enterprise schedulers.
- Experience managing SIT, UAT, and production cut-over with clients' Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and release management.
- Bachelor's degree in BE/B Tech, ME/M Tech, BSc, MSc, or MCA; MBA or PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred; Knowledge and practical use of AI tools in programme management is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex, multi-stakeholder banking programmes with strict regulatory compliance related to data protection and privacy.
- Strong in structured communication, stakeholder management at senior levels, and capable of driving decisions and escalation closures within fixed timelines.
- Familiar with AI-assisted programme management and delivery of data privacy programmes (DPDP, GDPR) or in similar regulatory environments, with prior technical background in data engineering or integration roles preferred.
