About This Role
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive automated and manual test plans for enterprise and industrial control software products.
- Validate software functions including integration, system, end-to-end, regression, and industrial automation/control systems with protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA, IEC 61850 preferred.
- Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, collaborate with development teams, and participate in release readiness and continuous quality improvement through CI/CD integration.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering involving automation testing for enterprise software and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript and experience with automation frameworks (Pytest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, Docker, REST APIs, and test management tools (Jira, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail).

- Candidate with strong expertise in both software QA for enterprise/cloud applications and industrial automation systems who can operate cross-functionally in global teams.
- Experience developing scalable automated test frameworks embedded in CI/CD pipelines emphasizing shift-left testing practices.
- Capability to validate complex industrial communication protocols and support advanced validation techniques like Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.
