About This Role
- Lead technical design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable Python backend microservices within Asset and Wealth Management technology products.
- Drive adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert influencing product design, technical operations, and SDLC toolchain automation with measurable validation standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Proficiency in Python backend technologies (Flask, Django) and experience with microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and automation/CI-CD pipelines.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with independent problem-solving skills and ability to handle minimal supervision on design/functionality challenges.
- Deep expertise in AI-assisted software development tools and responsible AI use in secure, compliant engineering workflows.
- Prior experience in banking domain and agile environments with strong technical influence across teams.
