About This Role
- Develop and maintain DCS / HMI applications using ABB 800xA software for HVDC and AC Substation projects.
- Design and implement secure network architectures for DCS / HMI systems integrating auxiliary automation systems (CCTV, HVAC, ACS, Intrusion System).
- Lead automation projects including technical coordination with sub suppliers, oversee FAT/SAT activities, and provide technical support during commissioning.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 14 years of project work experience in substation automation projects (India or international).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE, EEE, or E&I.
- Experience with ABB DCS 800xA, Hitachi Energy RTU, and power grid automation.
- Proficient in English; on-site work in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (no remote).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in coordinating multiple stakeholders to finalize automation solutions in large substation projects.
- Hands-on with IT infrastructure components (routers, firewalls, switches, servers) and networking related to DCS/SCADA systems.
- Capable of guiding and mentoring teams on business requirements and ensuring regulatory compliance in automation projects.
