About This Role
- Own end-to-end design, development, deployment, and monitoring of production-grade AI/ML solutions for procurement and spend management workflows.
- Lead technical direction, set engineering standards, and mentor engineers in delivering measurable AI features such as supplier scoring, anomaly detection, forecasting, recommendation systems, and document intelligence.
- Manage full AI lifecycle including problem definition, data preparation, model evaluation, deployment, and ongoing improvements while balancing trade-offs like accuracy, explainability, latency, cost, and maintainability.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or related engineering with production AI system delivery.
- Strong proficiency in Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and experience with tree-based/gradient boosting models (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM).
- Strong SQL skills with experience handling complex, imperfect, high-volume business data and building repeatable data pipelines.
- Experience in deploying and maintaining model inference services or AI-enabled APIs with software engineering collaboration.
