About This Role
- Lead architecture, design, and development of reusable foundational AI capabilities and advanced Generative AI platforms.
- Transform research prototypes into scalable, secure, production-ready AI applications optimized for inference performance and deployed in Kubernetes GPU environments.
- Establish AI engineering standards, conduct deep technical design/code reviews, and mentor engineering teams as a senior technical authority without people management duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
- 10-15 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or enterprise backend development.
- 5+ years of experience developing, deploying, and operating production machine learning systems, including significant recent experience with Generative AI.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, distributed systems, GPU infrastructure; experience with model serving platforms like Triton Inference Server and AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior technologist with technical lead or principal engineer experience on high-scale, highly available enterprise AI platforms.
- Experienced in productionizing AI solutions with a focus on scalability, performance optimization, and operational excellence.
- Skilled in advanced AI orchestration, inference optimization, container orchestration, and mentoring technical teams through architectural guidance.
