About This Role
- Lead and oversee the entire Equity Swaps operational lifecycle, including trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, collateral, and treasury funding activities.
- Maintain and enhance operational risk controls, track key risk/performance indicators, and support audits and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Front Office, Technology, Risk, Treasury, Finance to develop scalable processes and operate as senior escalation contact managing a team in Mumbai/Bangalore on 7pm-4am IST shift.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services Operations, Middle Office, Prime Services, Equity Derivatives or related area.
- Strong domain knowledge of Equity Swaps, Total Return Swaps, synthetic financing products, and key lifecycle functions (trade processing, confirmations, resets, corporate actions, settlements, reconciliations, collateral/margin, cash management).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
- Location: Mumbai or Bangalore; Shift timings 7pm to 4am IST; Experience managing or supervising an Operations/Middle Office team preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership and people-management ability in Equity Swaps or Prime Services operations environments with strong risk and control focus.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Front Office, Technology, Risk, Treasury, Finance to support business growth and operating model changes.
- Hands-on knowledge of trade lifecycle systems (e.g. NUVO, TRAIANA, DUCO) and familiarity with process improvement and automation initiatives.
