About This Role
- Own end-to-end backend development including design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of application logic, databases, data ingestion, processing, pipeline orchestration, APIs, and CI/CD integration.
- Optimize and fine-tune ETL/data pipelines and database queries on Snowflake for performance, ensuring timely and reliable execution.
- Design and manage microservices and APIs using Python, oversee product lifecycle from development to support, and maintain technical documentation for codebase and functionality.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in backend development, data pipelining, and infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar quantitative field.
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, Snowpark, SQL query optimization, and Snowflake and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, AWS) and API development using Python and FastAPI Framework.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and optimizing complex backend data pipelines and microservices in cloud environments with strong proficiency in Snowflake and Python ecosystems.
- Capable of owning full lifecycle product development including CI/CD pipeline setup, automated testing, and documentation.
- Comfortable working collaboratively to integrate server-side with client-side systems and eager to improve performance and reliability through best coding practices.
