About This Role
- Design and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and operating models with accountable oversight of governance lifecycle activities.
- Lead configuration and management of Microsoft Purview for metadata management, data cataloguing, classification, lineage, and stewardship across Azure data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Azure Data Engineering and Architecture to embed governance-by-design and develop governance assessments, roadmaps, and executive reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–9 years of professional experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related fields.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview and Azure data platforms (ADLS Gen2, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI/Fabric).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Work Experience Required: 7-9 years in relevant domains.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced consultant comfortable managing stakeholder communications and governance documentation at enterprise scale.
- Proficient with Azure cloud data services and governance tools, capable of implementing governance-by-design in complex architectures.
- Strong background in metadata management, data quality, lineage, and compliance in large enterprise environments.
