About This Role
- Lead and scale India Payroll Operations by managing team performance, day-to-day workflows, escalations, and quality standards.
- Drive operational excellence in India payroll compliance activities, vendor management, and process improvements with measurable KPIs like SLA adherence and CSAT.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Product, Support, Compliance, and Customer Success to enhance payroll delivery and resolve issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years in payroll operations, payroll compliance, or payroll service delivery with practical India payroll experience.
- 3+ years managing or supervising teams in operations or service delivery.
- Working knowledge of TDS, professional tax, EPF, POI, quarterly filings, Form 16, and vendor-supported payroll operations.
- Location: Must work from Bangalore office at least three days a week; working hours approx. 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST.

- Experienced leader familiar with scaling payroll operations teams in India, focusing on process maturity and operational discipline.
- Comfortable managing high volume escalations and complex client/vendor interactions with strong judgment and communication skills.
- Skilled collaborator capable of working closely with technical and product teams to drive tooling, automation, and product improvements for payroll operations.
