About This Role
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM CICS environments including CICSplex infrastructure management.
- Support and troubleshoot CICS production environments covering transaction processing, performance, availability, and integration with DB2, MQ, RACF, and z/OS.
- Participate in upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery readiness, and provide on-call support and maintenance activities.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe CICS System Programming or CICS infrastructure support.
- Proficient with IBM CICS Transaction Server including configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting CICS production environments with incident resolution and system maintenance.
- Ability to participate in rotational on-call support, planned maintenance, and disaster recovery exercises.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with CICS integrations such as IBM MQ, Db2, VSAM, and associated mainframe components.
- Familiarity with CICS-related tools like IBM OMEGAMON, BMC MainView, or other monitoring/debugging utilities.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, client-facing environments supporting diverse industries and contributing to modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
