About This Role
- Lead project accounting team activities including project setup, invoicing, and financial record maintenance to support client projects from start to finish.
- Ensure timely invoicing to meet WIP DSO goals and maintain project financial health by partnering with project teams to resolve variances and close projects.
- Manage team performance, escalate issues, and support recruitment, onboarding, and training of associates within the project accounting function.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years of project accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Ability to work 2nd shift and be in-office during onboarding; expected to transition to hybrid (3 days/week).
- Professional certification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in administering financial aspects of client projects with accountability for KPIs like NR, PBBIT/EBITDA, and WIP DSO.
- Capable of leading and coaching accounting associates, handling escalations, and operational management of a team.
- Strong communicator able to collaborate across functions and work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines in a complex, global environment.
