About This Role
- Design, build, and ship production-grade agentic AI systems integrating enterprise services and APIs with complex multi-step workflows.
- Engineer and maintain backend infrastructure for LLM orchestration, including tool-calling layers, memory management, and multi-agent coordination at enterprise scale.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, set standards for Generative AI development, and implement observability, LLMOps, and Responsible AI best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Python backend engineering skills with async programming, API development (FastAPI or similar), and microservices.
- Proven experience building and operating production backend systems at scale, including distributed services and observability.
- Hands-on experience shipping at least one LLM-powered production application using tool/function calling with models like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer with a track record of delivering scalable, production-grade AI and API-driven systems.
- Familiarity with generative AI engineering patterns, LLM orchestration, and integrating AI agents with enterprise data and APIs.
- Capable of leading technical teams and communicating technical work in business terms; comfortable with rapid learning in new AI domains and adopting frontier AI tools.
