About This Role
- Own and maintain the ingestion pipeline for parsing, extracting, and indexing large volumes of enterprise documents and structured data with high reliability.
- Design and implement enterprise data modeling including ontologies, entity resolution, and data provenance tracing.
- Build and optimize retrieval tools and memory systems for AI agents to ensure fast, accurate, and cost-effective search and knowledge retention across users and organizations.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend or data systems development and operations.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language; Go experience is a plus and expected for daily use.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with long-running pipelines ensuring retry safety and recovery; exposure to search or retrieval systems and debugging retrieval issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable working closely with AI model teams and engineering to build integrated AI data platforms used in production.
- Experienced in building scalable backend systems driven by real customer deployments with iterative quality improvements based on evaluations.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining complex data ingestion and retrieval systems for enterprise AI applications in dynamic environments.
