About This Role
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable .NET backend and SQL Server database solutions focused on performance.
- Own production database performance end-to-end, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting to detect performance issues before impacting customers and support production incidents via on-call rotations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework/Core, LINQ, ADO.NET, and SQL Server performance tuning (query optimization, indexing, execution plans).
- Experience troubleshooting production performance issues across application and database layers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in supporting large-scale, customer-facing SaaS applications with a focus on performance engineering.
- Proficient in building monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to improve system reliability and scalability.
- Comfortable participating in production support via rotational on-call for incident resolution and continuous performance improvements.
