About This Role
- Lead and own architectural direction and trade-offs across engineering team systems and surfaces.
- Handle the hardest engineering problems personally, including design reviews and building.
- Define and enforce consistent patterns, operability standards, and team outputs, including using AI coding agents.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong distributed systems expertise with fault tolerance and event processing.
- Proven ability to design and run scalable data systems (MySQL, OpenSearch, Kafka) under load.
- Hands-on with containerized deployments, CI/CD, and production observability (traces, metrics).
