About This Role
- Translate customer requirements into software design and develop advanced network packet forwarding features (IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, etc.)
- Analyze, debug and fix complex microkernel/Linux issues and drive automation in unit testing
- Provide technical leadership by solving complex problems, ensuring on-time delivery, and supporting field customer issues
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (B.E or BTech)
- 15+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in C/C++, Python programming, with a strong networking background
- Onsite work required at an HPE office
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software development for routers, switches, and datapath ASICs (Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot, or similar)
- Capable of handling multi-core software architectures and familiar with product development life cycle
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality software projects on time with strong technical leadership
