About This Role
- Provide technical support and system programming for large-scale IBM z/OS parallel SYSPLEX environments with multi-tiered applications.
- Lead and implement infrastructure initiatives such as ARC recovery, z16 server upgrades, OS upgrades, and security patching.
- Offer 24x7 production system support including off-hours and weekend shifts; provide technical guidance to operations, support teams, and developers.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-12+ years of experience as a Senior z/OS Systems Programmer with Mainframe Services and IBM Z hardware support.
- Strong expertise in IBM z/OS operating system, SMP/E, JES2/JES3, JCL, ISPF, REXX, and IBM zEnterprise hardware.
- Mandatory skills include configuring SMP/E, SMPE, RACF, SYSPLEX, HMC, Assembler & Rexx programming, and problem debugging tools.
- Work Location: Mumbai / Hyderabad / Chennai / Gurugram; Must be available for rotational shifts and 24x7 on-call support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing and supporting large-scale, global z/OS infrastructures with emphasis on system upgrades, patching, and recovery.
- Highly proficient in IBM mainframe ecosystem tools including SMP/E, SMPE, RACF, SYSPLEX, and HMC configuration.
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment with rotational shifts and providing technical guidance to multiple stakeholder groups.
