About This Role
- Own end-to-end qualification and validation of 1G to 800G Ethernet interfaces and optical transceivers, ensuring parameters like DOM/DDM, interoperability, FEC, and link stability meet standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies including functional, negative, interoperability, scale, stress, resiliency, and regression testing covering software upgrade and interface failure scenarios.
- Create and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework; configure and utilize Ixia/Spirent traffic generators for performance testing; troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for hardware, software, and optics issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in networking product validation, system testing, or network automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience with 100G/400G/800G Ethernet interfaces, optical transceivers, and traffic generators such as Ixia and/or Spirent.
- Strong programming and automation skills in Python and Robot Framework or equivalent; strong Linux proficiency; experience with debugging and root cause analysis.
