About This Role
- Maintain and operate internal engineering tools and services including Jira, Confluence, GitLab, SonarQube, Jenkins, and Testlink with administration of users, projects, permissions, and configurations.
- Manage OpenStack and VMware-based test environments including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and optimization.
- Perform deep troubleshooting and maintenance for infrastructure components including Oracle DBA duties, network services, Apache/NGINX configuration, security scanning workflows, and core network services.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in Linux administration and engineering tool operation.
- Strong Linux (RHEL preferred) administration skills including services, patching, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with Oracle at DBA level, OpenStack operations, VMware provisioning and lifecycle management, and maintaining engineering tools stacks (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, SonarQube, Testlink).
- Solid networking fundamentals and experience with Apache/NGINX configurations including TLS/SSL certificate deployment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing on-premise and cloud-based engineering infrastructure with ability to optimize and troubleshoot across OS, application, and network layers.
- Capable of independently owning platform administration, incident root cause analysis, and security workflow support in a complex network-intensive product environment.
- Familiar with automation, CI/CD integration, scripting, and maintaining observability and documentation to improve operational efficiency.
