About This Role
- Build and improve internal infrastructure platforms focusing on migration from on-premises to cloud environments (AWS primarily, also Azure and GCP).
- Develop automation and self-service workflows to accelerate infrastructure delivery while ensuring governance and reliability.
- Participate in incident response as part of a global on-call rotation, including root-cause analysis, and provide senior technical direction through design and code reviews and mentoring.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in software engineering or related roles focused on cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or security engineering.
- Proven experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure in large scale, multi-account, multi-region production environments.
- Strong skills in automation, CI/CD pipeline development (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD) using Python, TypeScript or similar.
- Experience with configuration management and systems automation tools (e.g., AWS Systems Manager, Chef, Ansible) and enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, Rocky, Amazon, CentOS).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hybrid infrastructure environments, able to manage operational support while driving cloud migration at scale.
- Comfortable collaborating across global teams and multiple technical domains including security, databases, and SRE.
- Capable of hands-on engineering balanced with technical mentorship, design/code review, and operational partnership with internal technology teams.
