About This Role
- Lead and manage a data engineering team across offshore locations including requirement transfer, quality review, and delivery oversight.
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and ETL/ELT processes using tools like DBT, Informatica IICS, and Google Cloud services (Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub).
- Collaborate closely with customer Data Architects, Data Scientists, and BI Engineers to meet and exceed customer expectations in data management and pipeline solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in engineering and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets.
- 8+ years hands-on experience with DBT and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- 7+ years experience with Cloud technologies including Google Cloud Dataflow, Data Fusion, Pub/Sub, Dataform, dbt, BigQuery, Cloud SQL.
- Advanced SQL skills, strong data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing expertise; expertise in database storage concepts (data lake, relational, NoSQL, Graph).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience managing offshore engineering teams with ability to communicate and coordinate between customer and delivery teams.
- Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud data engineering ecosystem and ETL/ELT tools with strong leadership in technical design and quality assurance.
- Prior exposure to agile software development methodologies and familiarity with retail industry data challenges is a plus.
