About This Role
- Manage and optimize enterprise storage environments including block and file storage administration, SAN/NAS operations, replication, and performance tuning.
- Lead high availability and disaster recovery implementations for storage platforms, ensuring recovery objectives are met.
- Automate storage administration tasks, maintain monitoring dashboards, and generate reports to support capacity, performance, and SLA compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration with hands-on SAN/NAS production systems experience.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Strong expertise with IBM Storage, Dell Storage, NetApp C-Series/FAS, and Brocade/HP SAN switches.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, CLI tools) and experience with ITIL-based processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex storage environments across multiple vendor platforms (IBM, Dell, NetApp) and SAN switch technologies.
- Capable of handling escalated L2/L3 incidents and performing performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Familiar with disaster recovery, automation, and cross-functional collaboration involving virtualization and cloud integration.
