About This Role
- Lead and grow a team of product designers, overseeing hiring, onboarding, performance, and team health with clear goal setting and feedback.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to define product roadmaps, prioritize design capacity, and ensure coherence across complex clinical and operational workflows.
- Raise design quality by leading critiques, staying hands-on with design tasks, collaborating closely with engineering, and evolving AI-assisted design practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years in product design with at least 3 years managing designers, including evidence of coaching and growing people.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex products shipped, leadership impact, and measurable customer or business outcomes.
- Experience with systems thinking to build coherent cross-product experiences and practical use of AI tools in design workflows.
- Proficiency with Figma, prototyping, and technical collaboration with engineering teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in navigating ambiguous environments and making tradeoffs by partnering with product and engineering leaders for prioritization.
- Strong product judgment and design taste with attention to detail to elevate team output and user experience quality.
- Familiarity with healthcare or regulated enterprise products and AI-assisted or agentic design experiences is a plus but not strictly required.
