About This Role
- Provide expert-level support and administration for IBM mainframe storage environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and optimize DASD storage subsystems, IBM DS8000 platforms, and DFSMS components including SMS, HSM, DFP, DSS, and RMM.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and participate in change management for storage-related systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting IBM Mainframe Storage environments with strong knowledge of IBM z/OS and storage architecture.
- Hands-on experience with DFSMS suite (SMS, DFHSM/HSM, DFDSS, ICKDSF, RMM, IDCAMS, ISMF) and IBM DS8000 storage platforms.
- Experience managing backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

- Experienced in managing critical mainframe storage systems under operational SLA requirements.
- Skilled in storage provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, and problem resolution in enterprise environments.
