About This Role
- Architect and build scalable, containerized Java Spring Boot microservices as a hands-on technical leader for one or more scrum teams.
- Own end-to-end feature development including design, implementation, deployment, and integration of APIs with firm-wide control systems.
- Mentor engineers and drive adoption of AI-powered development tools to enhance code quality and development velocity.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift and building cloud-native applications.
- Demonstrated experience as a technical lead or leading development projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to lead scrum teams technically while contributing directly to the codebase (player-coach role).
- Experience in financial services or large, complex global environments preferred.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular) and enthusiasm for integrating AI-assisted development tools.
