About This Role
- Design, implement, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency Python backend services and SQL pipelines processing large volumes of financial market data.
- Translate regulatory mandates and market surveillance policies into automated control algorithms and surveillance engines.
- Serve as technical authority guiding architectural decisions, enforcing engineering standards, and mentoring engineers while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years professional software engineering experience with deep Python backend and data pipeline expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, relational database design, query optimization, and performance profiling.
- Strong domain knowledge of Investment Banking and Capital Markets including trade lifecycles, order management, and market risk analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Master's degree preferred.

- Experienced technical leader capable of architectural reviews, mentoring, and establishing engineering standards.
- Proficient in aligning technical solutions with complex regulatory and business requirements in capital markets.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid Pune location environment with direct stakeholder engagement across risk, trading, and compliance teams.
