About This Role
- Lead safety compliance and support across construction projects ensuring adherence to company and local regulations.
- Conduct safety review meetings early in projects and ensure safety work method statements for high-risk activities are in place.
- Promote workplace safety through site inspections, risk reporting, safety corrections, weekly safety meetings, and coordination with project and operations managers.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience in construction safety.
- Must hold relevant safety professional licenses with a proven track record in providing safety trainings.
- Proficient in project safety systems, processes, tools and best practices.
- Location: On-site in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management in construction projects.
- Experience mentoring and coaching safety officers and non-safety professionals to promote safety culture.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication with ability to identify and meet business safety requirements effectively.
