About This Role
- Manage end-to-end preparation and review of financial statements, portfolio schedules, and mandatory regulatory reports for investment company clients within strict deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with client deliverables, regulatory filings, and risk management across the financial reporting production chain.
- Lead coordination between multiple departments including global offshore partners; provide coaching, performance reviews, and staff management including hiring and disciplinary decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ to 12+ years experience in Mutual Fund/Hedge Fund financial reporting, accounting, or finance with staff management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Economics with specialization in Business, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA or similar preferred.
- Work Hours: Must work shifts overlapping US, APAC, and EMEA hours; specific notice period not mentioned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Mutual Fund structures including master-feeder funds, 40 Act funds, and related hierarchies.
- Demonstrates strong leadership capability managing teams and complex client deliverables in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Technically proficient with accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting tools (e.g., FundSuite, MCH, Macros); proactive in risk management and process improvement.
