About This Role
- Own configuration and maintenance of SAP MM and IS-OIL modules including Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench, Hydrocarbon Product Management, and Transportation and Distribution networks.
- Lead integration activities by mapping and managing interfaces between SAP and external Terminal Automation Systems, author functional specifications for custom ABAP programs and workflows.
- Manage end-to-end testing cycles including integration, user acceptance, and regression tests ensuring deployment readiness in Oil & Gas sector projects.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-20 years of experience as SAP Functional Consultant with at least two full lifecycle end-to-end implementations in Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration: Procurement, Inventory Management, Master Data, Split Valuation, and Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV).
- Deep technical knowledge of SAP IS-OIL Downstream components including TSW and HPM, plus experience with TD and Exchange Agreements configuration.
- Mandatory education: Bachelor of Technology, MBA, MCA, or CA; active SAP MM or IS-OIL certification preferred but not explicitly required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced consultant with deep domain expertise in downstream refinery operations, midstream pipeline transit, or bulk fuel logistics.
- Technically adept in system integration with SAP and external automation systems, capable of writing detailed RICEF specifications and debugging ABAP code.
- Familiar with SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain including greenfield migrations and understanding of upstream SAP components like PRA or JVA is a plus.
