About This Role
- Lead and develop multiple cross-functional software engineering teams (2+ teams of 6-8 engineers each) ensuring high performance and alignment with product priorities.
- Act as a bridge between product management and engineering to translate requirements and deliver software that exceeds customer expectations.
- Define strategic direction, promote team best practices, support individual growth, and optimize organizational productivity and innovation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience within software development/engineering roles.
- At least 2 years leading multi-disciplinary Agile development teams (minimum 2 teams of 6-8 engineers).
- Good knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in a product company environment; experience in banking, payments, or SaaS is a plus.
- Strong technical expertise including understanding of continuous integration, automated testing, release management, and relevant tooling (Jira, Confluence, Git).
- Demonstrated ability in hiring engineers and developing team composition and onboarding/training strategies.
