About This Role
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software features in networking (IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall/Filter, DHCP, etc.) primarily for routers and switches.
- Provide technical leadership on significant projects and cross-functional initiatives including driving innovations and assisting customer-facing teams to translate requirements and resolve complex field issues.
- Enhance and automate Unit Tests, maintain existing features, and contribute to mentoring and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 15+ years of work experience required.
- B.E or BTech degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python with excellent design, problem solving, and debugging abilities.
- Must have strong networking background; prior experience with software development on routers/switches and datapath ASICs (Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot or similar) highly desirable.
- Work location: Onsite at an HPE office.
