About This Role
- Develop and enhance complex network packet forwarding features including IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall, DHCP, and related services.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex microkernel/Linux software issues and enhance automated unit testing.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to translate requirements into software designs and support customer issues and sustaining existing features.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (B.E or B.Tech) from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python with solid networking background.
- Onsite work required at HPE office; experience with router/switch software development and datapath ASICs (Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
