About This Role
- Design, build, and execute performance test scripts including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for enterprise applications.
- Identify performance bottlenecks by monitoring infrastructure, database metrics, and application logs during test runs; conduct root-cause analysis with development teams.
- Integrate automated performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and report on performance baselines and KPIs to technical stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and software engineering.
- Proficiency with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
- Strong coding/scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for custom test scenarios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working closely with development and DevOps teams for root cause analysis and performance optimization.
- Skilled in monitoring and observability tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana to analyze system performance.
- Strong understanding of web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs) and database query optimization (SQL).
