About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites focusing on APIs, backend services, and distributed systems using Java and Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, scalable quality gates and improve overall product quality, reliability, and release confidence.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and promote engineering best practices to enhance automation frameworks and testing processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation or software quality engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Java with experience in Java-based testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
- Experience with API testing tools such as REST Assured, Postman and Playwright for API automation.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control systems (e.g., Git), and understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and service-oriented architectures.

- Experienced in designing and maintaining automation frameworks specifically for backend and distributed systems using Java and Playwright.
- Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum environments and collaboratively improving testability, maintainability, and release readiness across engineering teams.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify coverage gaps, analyze failures, and optimize automation reliability and execution efficiency.
