About This Role
- Own the end-to-end architecture and reliability of a Python AWS product integrating AI reasoning for security risk prioritization and remediation.
- Build and maintain the AI reasoning layer that correlates evidence, produces remediation recommendations with confidence metrics, and integrates deterministic policy controls.
- Set engineering standards across code, APIs, observability, testing, and operator experience while leading the product handover from consultants.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years in software, AI, or security engineering with principal-level architecture and leadership experience.
- Proven experience shipping production AI or LLM-based systems with strong security evaluation capabilities.
- Expertise in Python backend engineering with FastAPI, asynchronous workflows, APIs, PostgreSQL/Aurora, distributed systems, CI/CD, and AWS.
- Proficiency in LLM frameworks (e.g., Bedrock, Claude, OpenAI) including safe AI practices like hallucination control, prompt injection defense, and confidence calibration.

- Highly experienced principal architect capable of bridging AI, backend engineering, and security risk management in a complex production environment.
- Expert in reliable, stateful AI agent workflows with tooling for safe autonomous remediation and human oversight integration.
