About This Role
- Define and drive regression testing, test automation, and quality engineering strategy across multiple products and teams within the DTC Platform Engineering organization.
- Lead automation teams, owning automation architecture, framework design, tooling decisions, and engineering standards to ensure robust quality delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders (Product, Engineering, DevOps, SRE) to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and improve release confidence and delivery speed.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and Software Testing with leadership of automation teams.
- Strong expertise in scalable automation frameworks and enterprise-wide regression testing initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Maestro, or Appium and programming in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or comparable languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of managing and mentoring automation teams and driving quality engineering strategies across diverse technical environments.
- Proficient in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and applying modern testing practices including shift-left, AI-assisted testing, and service virtualization.
- Domain experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer digital products, with strong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross-team quality standards.
