About This Role
- Own cost and performance optimization of a multi-agent AI system for clinical documentation, including prompt caching, model routing, token reduction, and latency profiling.
- Build and maintain AI agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks for output quality, and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) infrastructure for clinical decision support.
- Manage AWS AI/ML infrastructure hosting both managed and open-source models using tools like SageMaker, Bedrock, Terraform, and Serverless Framework.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience with significant work on AI/LLM systems.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience building production systems, not just prototypes.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, multi-agent architectures, AWS AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker), and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Serverless Framework.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and optimizing multi-agent AI systems with knowledge of prompt caching, token economics, and latency profiling.
- Familiar with RAG architectures, vector search, and hosting open-source models (e.g., Whisper, Llama) on AWS infrastructure.
- Comfortable working with healthcare data and PHI, understanding clinical terminology and medical documentation is a plus.
