About This Role
- Lead publicity campaigns for South Indian originals (Tamil, Telugu) from production to post-launch, including announcements, junkets, and press moments.
- Own earned media strategy and execution for a slate of originals, working closely with filmmakers, talent, marketing, and communications teams.
- Manage media pitching, relationships with journalists and influencers, agency/vendor management, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-10 years of entertainment publicity experience in studio, OTT, network, agency, or journalism roles.
- Proven experience running end-to-end publicity campaigns for South Indian titles or talent.
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and able to speak Tamil and/or Telugu.
- Comfortable managing agencies, budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep understanding of South Indian cinema and television culture and media landscape, with ability to differentiate between Tamil and Telugu markets.
- Strong existing media relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers in South India, with a track record of meaningful media coverage.
- Ability to integrate earned media strategy across channels including social, talent, experiential, and marketing for holistic campaigns.
