About This Role
- Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver and operate business-critical Commerce services with accountability for end-to-end delivery including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Drive technical leadership by establishing engineering standards, guiding architecture and design decisions, and improving software quality, security, scalability, and operational reliability.
- Champion AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity and delivery efficiency, while managing stakeholder communication and engineering strategy alignment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of software engineering experience including direct management of software engineers and delivery responsibility.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, enterprise applications, cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS), and Agile/DevOps practices.
- Work from office 2-3 times a week (hybrid work model).

- Proven track record in managing engineering teams delivering large-scale cloud-based Commerce or related platforms, balancing feature delivery with platform modernization and operational stability.
- Experience collaborating effectively with product, architecture, and leadership teams to manage technical risks and prioritize delivery while improving engineering and operational metrics.
- Comfortable with AI-assisted software engineering tools and driving adoption of innovative engineering workflows to enhance team productivity and quality.
