About This Role
- Manage and analyze agronomic and international trade flow data focusing on Indian crop routines, especially sugarcane in Maharashtra.
- Develop statistical models and perform feature engineering to enhance data quality and predictive insights for strategic decision-making.
- Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders and support commercial and regulatory strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis with focus on agronomy or commodities.
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Python and data visualization tools like Dash is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Marathi required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with Indian agricultural practices and international trade data, particularly in sugar and ethanol sectors.
- Strong operational focus on data integration, statistical modeling, and feature engineering.
- Ability to engage cross-functionally with agronomists, traders, and research teams to align data insights with business needs.
