About This Role
- Assess and analyze performance of Charles River’s products to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
- Develop and maintain performance test frameworks, plans, and automated tests aligned with non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners, scrum teams, and implementation teams to support product delivery and troubleshoot performance issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-12 years experience in Performance Test Engineering in a process-driven, cloud-based technology environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Business with MIS; MS degree strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad or equivalent) and APM/observability tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics etc).
- Experience with C#, Java, SQL, Powershell, Bash; familiarity with Windows OS; Agile methodology experience strongly desired.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level engineer with deep expertise in performance testing and bottleneck analysis in multi-tiered, high-performance database applications.
- Experience translating business and non-functional requirements into comprehensive performance testing strategies within Agile environments.
- Technical hands-on experience with cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and scripting languages to support automated performance testing and environment management.
