About This Role
- Manage installation, upgrades, maintenance, and migration of IBM CICS Transaction Servers and related ISV products.
- Provide technical support including troubleshooting CICS abends, dumps, and performance issues with root cause analysis.
- Lead CICS modernization efforts and support client system data management, prioritizing assignments and collaborating with technicians.
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in CICS systems programming with strong knowledge in IBM CICS Transaction Server.
- Experience with z/OS ecosystem including SMP/E, Unix System Services (USS), REXX, VSAM, and support of CICS-related ISV products.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 9 years in relevant CICS systems programming roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Subject Matter Expert capable of independently managing upgrades, installations, migrations (including P2V, V2V, P2P) and providing direct technical support.
- Experience preferably in Banking/Financial Services domain with working knowledge of Assembler, COBOL, CICS, DB2.
- Ability to handle on-call activities, drive projects through completion, and support troubleshooting and customer service at a high level.
