About This Role
- Own plant industrial relations and labour compliance to maintain a compliant, engaged, and productive workforce while minimizing employee-relations and business-continuity risks.
- Manage contract staff and grievances, ensure labour-law compliance, and maintain relationships with labour authorities and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in workforce experience, engagement, productivity, retention, and support wage benchmarking and market competitiveness assessments.
Minimum Requirements
- 12-15 years progressive experience in Industrial Relations and Labour management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, contract labour compliance, and manufacturing statutory requirements.
- Experience managing manufacturing and contract workforces, grievance handling, disciplinary matters, and engaging with labour authorities and contractors.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labour Welfare, Law, or a related discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hands-on management of manufacturing and contract labor workforces including grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Demonstrates strong negotiation, conflict resolution, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with labour authorities and contractors.
- Preferably has experience supporting greenfield or new manufacturing setup projects.
