About This Role
- Proactively hunt for, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents across on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct forensic analysis and deep-dive investigations to identify attack patterns, improve detection methods, and mitigate risks.
- Develop and automate threat detection methodologies leveraging frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in security operations, threat hunting, or similar cybersecurity roles.
- Proficiency in analyzing security logs across Cloud, EDR, and Network environments, and developing detection rules (Yara, Sigma, SQL, etc.).
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in advanced threat detection methodologies and threat intelligence frameworks, notably MITRE ATT&CK.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced Security Operations Centers handling endpoint, network, and cloud security.
- Skilled in forensic investigations, behavior pattern analysis, and proactive identification of sophisticated cyber threats.
