About This Role
- Design, develop, and operate scalable APIs using Go, Java, or PHP for large-scale products.
- Lead software development process including architecture design, middleware selection, performance tuning, monitoring, and handling alerts.
- Collaborate with PMs and stakeholders from planning through release and respond to customer support and operational inquiries.
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ years experience in backend API design, development, and operation using Go, PHP, or Java.
- Experience with large-scale system development, technology selection, and codebase improvement.
- Proficient in database design and development (MySQL or similar RDBMS).
- Ability to design for performance and scalability, and lead the software development process.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading backend development for large-scale, high-performance systems with microservice architecture.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (preferably GCP or AWS), middleware selection, and monitoring/logging systems.
- Able to take ownership and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive product development and operation.
