About This Role
- Own design and delivery of full-stack software features using Java/Spring Boot and React/Angular within JPMorgan Chase Consumer and Community Banking - Business Banking team.
- Build resilient services and integrations including Kafka eventing, ensuring production readiness with monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks to reduce incidents.
- Drive engineering quality through code reviews, automation, test strategies, CI/CD pipeline improvements, and mentor engineers to standardize best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of applied software engineering experience and formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, React/Angular, Kafka producers/consumers, and SQL (Aurora/Postgres or equivalent), plus NoSQL (Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Elastic Search).
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated code and outputs.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Foundry/AWS, CI/CD pipeline building/maintenance, and tools for observability and monitoring such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Grafana.
